The premise that almost everyone on a flight receives a prediction of their age and cause of death from a woman none of them had noticed leads to fascinating questions about personality, foreknowledge, destiny vs chance, self fulfilling prophecy, and all the ways in which our relationships with the various people in our lives shape and change us day by day.
Diverse personalities, a multitude of jobs and life experiences interact as characters try to convince themselves they don't believe while also trying to mitigate the chance the prediction will be accurate. With such diversity it is likely that most readers will find someone they resonate with.
I really enjoyed getting to know the characters, hearing some of their back stories, and hoping for good outcomes for them!

All in all, I found this book to be a bit overly tedious for me. I am just not loving Liane Moriarity as I once did so it may just be me.
