The story wasn’t engaging at all. We constantly jump backwards and forwards between all the characters but nothing really happens. There are constant tangents of unnecessary stories that don’t seem to have anything to do with the plot. It’s way to long a book for the story. This is definitely not a book for me and don’t think Luanne Moriarty is an author I will be picking up again

This is a truely wonderful book. The characters and their stories feel so believable and are
beautifully and surprisingly intertwined
. The way grief is handled and described was very touching and relatable. I adored reading this book and I already know it will be one of my favourites of the year.

I love Liane Moriarty’s books and how they start with a tangled mess of characters that end up connected in meaningful and interesting ways in the end. In a similar way to The Measure, this book inspired me to pause and reflect on the trajectory of my life. What does one do with your one, precious life? It also inspires you to tap into empathy, which the world could certainly use more of these days.

I loved this story!! It honestly made me incredibly uncomfortable to read about death, especially being predicted the way it was for the passengers. It's such a morbid and scary thing, but this book, I just couldn't put it down. It was so well written and just an all around beautiful story and message. I really enjoyed it!
