This is a truely wonderful book. The characters and their stories feel so believable and are
beautifully and surprisingly intertwined
. The way grief is handled and described was very touching and relatable. I adored reading this book and I already know it will be one of my favourites of the year.

I loved this story!! It honestly made me incredibly uncomfortable to read about death, especially being predicted the way it was for the passengers. It's such a morbid and scary thing, but this book, I just couldn't put it down. It was so well written and just an all around beautiful story and message. I really enjoyed it!

I found it pretty easy to figure out what was going on with the "death ladies" predictions by about halfway through the book. However, the journey of the book was still fairly enjoyable.
I did like the ending and the how/why she ended up doing that on the plane. As well as all the frank discussions of mental health.
Overall, it is a decent read, and quite emotional.

Narrators' Rating: 4.5 stars
My only complaint with the narrators was some of the voices they used were annoying or repetitive in different characters.

not bad.

The premise of this book was good and interesting. However, the execution of the plot was lacking. It was a decent book and I have nothing particularly bad to say about it except for that I don’t think it necessitated the page length. Maybe it is because I’ve recently read a few books about mortality, but this book didn’t really stand out for me. Some people love it though. It just wasn’t for me. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to a friend.

The exploration of what humans do if they know their time on Earth is limited was really fascinating, and sometimes very emotional! I enjoyed many of the characters and their individual stories, but found it hard to keep some of them straight. This could be because of the length of the book and the many different times I sat down to read. I grew to really feel for Cherry (the Death Lady.) Learning more about her backstory and all the trauma and grief she’s lived through really helped to understand her actions. The story wrapped up nicely and tied many characters and subplots together.

This was very interesting, it kept me intrigued until the very end.

I really liked how certain characters, like Leo's mum, knew cherry, or Paula's friend was the daughter of cherry's best friend. I also really felt the emotions of cherry and her loses and I found the whole prediction to actuary plot line was compelling and quite logical!

Another excellent book by Liane Moriarty! It kept me guessing and on my toes until the end.
