I was so excited to see that Rosie was going to get a book. She was such a fierce friend in The Spanish Love Deception and I couldn't wait to see how it played out.
I was not disappointed. This book captured my attention for 2 straight days. I loved that Rosie quit her 9 to 5 job to follow her dreams. It was bold and, as noted in the book, ballsy. Both Rosie and Lucas are lovable. The double POV really added something - it gave you an insight into each character's thoughts and actions. Together, their chemistry was off the charts.
I loved the appearances by Lina and Aaron throughout the book. Aaron was his typical self, while Lina got to play the protective BFF. They really added to the scenes they were in and were there just enough not to take away from Rosie and Lucas.
I dare to say I liked this more than TSLD. My expectations were pretty high, and they were met. This book had it all - fake dating, online crushes, tension, chemistry, laughs and spice.
*I'll also note - I would love to see Charo get a book. She was great in book 1 and is great in her brief appearances in book 2.

Perfect sequel to The Spanish Love Deception. Had me hooked super early on and really loved the ending!
Was a bit slow and frustrating in the beginning but still loved it
