Such a great thriller that I read it in a day! So many plot twists

I liked it, but not as much as some of her others. Read in less than 24 hours and it was gripping. I did want to know what happened, so that’s good!

I love Frieda but this was not my favorite of her work. The book was good but the ending didn't quite pack the punch that I was used to with her. I didn't have it all figured out, it just wasn't a total shocker.

This book is like taking Groundhogs Day and 50 First Dates and making a child who likes mind games. I absolutely loved the character Camilla and the dog, Ziggy. Finished the book in one day and have no regrets!

Tess wakes up without memory of her life for the past seven years. Very few things are as she remembers it. She doesn’t know what’s going on and who she can trust.

Rather than being suspenseful, I just found it frustrating that Tess kept running into the same issues each day. It gave me similar vibes as when you want to scream at the person in the horror movie not to do something because you know what’s going on when they don’t. I know it’s dramatic irony, but I didn’t love it in this case.

The book was written fairly well, but not my favorite by this author. There wasn’t really anything that was unexpected or a twist to me, as I expect from thriller novels.
