At parts hilarious, at parts insightful, at parts confrontational - exactly like Daniel is in his shows. If you picked this up and didn't know what Slows is like, you were probably in for a surprise!

I like Daniel Sloss' stand up despite, or perhaps because, it is so dark and unpleasant. This book continues in a similar vein which will alienate many readers but I enjoyed. I'm not sure what the point of the book really is, there's not a uniting theme really, just lots of vaguely connected chapters where Sloss shares his opinions. Even so, it was entertaining while I was reading it and that's enough.

I love Daniel Sloss' comedy, and I am glad that I picked up this book of essays. While this book has elements of a memoir, I do not feel like it is one. The footnotes are fantastic.
I laughed out loud while reading - while I knew many of the stories through his stand up I am absolutely okay with it. Is this book for everyone, no. Is it for me? Absolutely.
This book is a re-read for me, as I am actually going to see Daniel Sloss live this week. I am so excited!

It was fine. It had his humor but I did wonder why we needed this
