Exactly the type of cheerful and charming read I needed. Add in the top-tier mental health representation and I was swooning myself. Don't go in expecting just any rom-com, go in expecting so much more.

I received an ecopy of this book through Netgalley; however, my opinions are my own.

it was okay

For some reason this book made me feel so down. The character was a bit much. Her anxiety made me feel nervous.
Plus noelle got on my nerves, how she came on so strong with Sam and how she initially took Ed back to her life. There is such a lack of enough self worth and self preservation

this book was mid.

my thoughts:
- i was rooting for the fmc a lot. loved her sm.
- loved and enjoyed the soulmates trope but can be unrealistic at times
- the mmc had zero personality until the last chapter. (sorry!)
- it was actually a short book but it felt longer than that. it dragged out icl
- very british and i love it.

I was so bored. Even the meet cute was boring. The characters did not have chemistry at all. I usually only give two stars if the book is super smutty, which this thankfully wasn’t, but man I was so bored. I was so excited to read it, but it fell so flat.

I adored Dear Emmie Blue and The Key to My Heart, so I had high hopes for this one, but it was just so. dang. slow. The story was fine, but I just didn’t develop a heartfelt connection to the characters despite lots and lots of time to do so.

ah this is such a cute read!
It's rare that pretty much all of the characters are likeable (bar Ed!) but I was routing for everyone to get their happy ending.
Noelle and Sam are just destined to be together, the ending 😲
Charlie struggling with being a new mum definitely hit home and it was refreshing to read about a great dad in Theo.
Noelle's mum and Ian... I need a spin off just for these two!

An easy read you can really lose yourself in. Definitely recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to netgally and Orion for my ARC copy.
