This book was the perfect Christmas season read. It moved swiftly, the characters were not boring, and it provided enough festivity to make me wish for snow. Olivia tries so hard to be a friend to people, be what they need. And that’s exactly what lands her in this mess.

I will definitely be adding this author to my “Read More” pile. Also can we talk about how original the art on the cover is? I say it’s unique because many times the cover is overly cutesy or hard differentiate from other covers. But this one… So eye catching and thoughtful!

I loved the banter between Olivia and Asher. She is so sassy to him. And doesn't care that he is her boss. You can feel the love between them both directly. But of course, they don't admit it

Banter? Check.
Fake dating? Check.
Grumpy X Sunshine? Check.

What a fun, fast paced Christmas read! Set in NYC during Christmas time, Olivia is the embodiment of Christmas cheer and her boss, Asher, is the actual Grinch. When Olivia realizes that Asher is more grumpy than usual due to a breakup, she decides she's going to help him by fake dating him to make his ex jealous.

Olivia and Asher's chemistry was off the charts. The banter that they had was honestly some of the best I've read when it comes to a rom com enemies to lovers. I seriously couldn't put this book down! It did hit some heavier topics, which was actually a pleasant surprise to me, considering most Christmas books are just fluff.

All in all, a great Christmas read.

Office holiday fake dating romance between a Grinch/Sunshine character, but it unfortunately feels super long for a large portion of the story. It really does have something for everyone though..
