This book even as being a work of fiction opened up my eyes not only to a deeper understanding of deaf culture but helped me under gay culture a bit better. I loved the book, I cried, got mad, and rooted for the underdog....the end was a bit, well I was a bit lost and I did kninda want to know about Frakie more but I loved it none the less. Great book!
