2.5 stars!!

At the beginning i really wasnt liking it but after chapter 12/13 it got much more enjoyable i must say. When adam and olive started getting closer to each other it definitely got sm better. However i still didnt LOVE it as i had expected.

Truly would’ve been 5 stars if Adam had ever actually expressed his thoughts and feelings. I kept waiting for the confession of love and backstory and his part and it never happened, so the whole book fell flat for me.

Look. Our girl Olive is D E N S E in her interpersonal relationships this whole ass book. I can totally see how that would pull others out of the story, but this was such a gooey butterball of tropes and sexual tension that DELIVERED (OMG did it deliver) that I was able to lean into it a bit like one of the cheesier K Dramas.

Really appreciated the discussion of mentorship and the demi rep.
