I've honestly never rated a book so low before but I just did not enjoy reading this book. Now if she wasn't dating someone (like I thought would happen) maybe I would have enjoyed this book but I just can't get behind cheating. And in my mind yes it is still cheating even if all parties consented because let's be for real, she wanted Beau from the start.

Yes, hi. I am not going to lie. I was here for the smut only. Yet there was hardly any of it, and when there was, it was hardly anything. I was surprised to find instead, a slow build of tension and forbidden vibes. Its not really what I wanted, but I can appreciate the authortrying to make it more of a story, not just smut. The writing was decent, easy to consume, not lengthy, not too detailed, it was easy to skim. There was a female mc, and she is conflicted over her feelings of wanting to build a better life for herself and her bf. But that is proving to be very difficult given their situation in life. She has hopes and dreams and the like, and really is just apuppy dog who think she is obligated to stay by her bf side until the end of time because of what he did for her. Her bf doesnt feel like he is good enough for her, doesnt treat her right, is kinda fist fist. Meh. And then walks in tall dark and handsome, and it was instant forbidden attraction and tension. HOnestly the forbidden male mc wasnt even that intriguing, just more like a wanna be 'alluring, cant resist me, im your daddy now big boi' lmao...but whatves. And from there, well, you get the idea..
