more like 3.75 like almost 4 stars. this book was kinda a perfect little winter love story. some parts felt like they stuttered to me and some folks love stories i didn’t love as much but i appreciated that we got to follow one couples longer love story alongside a bunch of smaller really cute lovely love stories. the reason the one couple broke up like felt frustrating for me and the MCs lack of communication of feelings but i got why she was like that. i also loved that it was set in atlanta and i got to seee like familiar locations i liked. and ir was just a nice lil queer treat overall. and a good length not too long not too short. good book!!!!

Great cozy little love romance and sequel (of sorts) to Blackout by the same authors. I really love how they set up the big event in Whiteout where all of the characters are on a mission to help Stevie with her grand gesture/grovel (lol) in the middle of a snow storm. Each chapter had great character development and I loved how we got to see some of Stevie and Sola's relationship moments that were intermingled with the rest of the story. 10/10 Would Recommend if you are looking for a nice cozy read with a lot of Love, Actually vibes.

My Thoughts: This was a wonderful sapphic romance read. This was a follow up to Blackout, which I have not read yet. However, saying that, this could be read as a standalone, I had no issues keeping up. I adored the premise of this book, being caught up in this snowstorm. I loved that this was a collection of some Atlanta teens during the snowstorm, and their respective friendships and relationships, it really set the tone well for the story. The story is narrated in flashbacks and the present, which I appreciated as you got the backstory. I loved the multiple tropes it followed, friends to lovers, second chance romance, and grand gestures; I really love the grand gestures. I loved that this is more than just a romance, it has some queer romance and friendships sprinkled in, a really diverse novel. The characters were fleshed out well with depth, witty banter, chemistry, and so creative. The authors’ writing style was a complex blend of crisp writing that flowed well, was funny, was emotional, and just brilliant. This is out now and I have read that the audiobook has multiple narrators, enhancing the reading experience. I highly recommend, go pick up today!

I am so glad that this group of wonderful writers got together to make another book like Blackout. Though not a companion or sequel, it has the same feel–> a wonderful group of romances, all happening simultaneously in the most unlikely circumstances.

DNF a little over 1/3 of the way. Book was very disjointed and just did not care about any of the characters.
