I devoured Off the Grid by K. Bromberg, and let me tell you, Spencer Riggs isn’t just burning rubber, he’s scorching hearts.

He’s the cocky, brooding bad boy of racing, strutting into the team garage like he owns the damn paddock. One panty-melting smirk and suddenly professionalism feels like a very distant memory for Camilla Moretti.

Both Spencer and Camilla have something to prove.  His father was a legendary driver who died on the track when he was a child and Spencer is trying to live up to his legacy.  Camilla's father has brought her in to take over the family team and she's determined for everyone to take her seriously.

From high-stakes circuits to stolen glances, this book has all the adrenaline of race day and all the feels of a surprise podium finish. And when Riggs finally lets his guard down? Let’s just say the emotional payoff is worth every red flag.

If you love fast cars, forbidden tension, and broody heroes with hidden hearts of gold, Off the Grid deserves pole position on your TBR.

Despite being a new-ish F1 fan, I was skeptical of this book, but I enjoyed it for what it was - it was easy to read and a had a propulsive plot with likable characters.

This book was ok. The characters fell flat and at times, the plot felt rushed and disjointed. I wish there was more emotional exploration regarding that final race from Riggs’ standpoint. That being said, I’ll always eat up a sporty forbidden romance!!
