Sooo maybe I should've read the reviews before reading, because this was WAY too much sexual content for my liking. I'm very interested in Greek mythology, so that was the only thing keeping me interested. I felt like it had a modern-ish twist to the mythology. I also listen to the book, and oh god the voice that narrates Hades sounds like an old man which made it a bit worse.

The spice was good. But the plotline? Not really.

Always love new releases from Katee Robert. This one definitely lived up to the hype for me. I love mythological representation/retellings, definitely a unique spin. Just wish it was a bit longer.

Neon God had amazing smut, good character building, interesting side characters who will have larger roles in the next few books and good writing. I loved Hades and Persephone, they were well suited for each other. However the plot was non existent and the pacing was slow in the first half.

My favourites were Hermes and Demeter. I wish Persephone had some passion and character growth for herself that wasn't just about being fucked by Hades. But overall it was a decent start to what I still feel is going to be an amazing series.

3.75/5 stars! This is the steamiest book I’ve EVER read! Aside from that, it was fast paced even without much going on in the plot. I would definitely read another one if this was a series as the way Olympus was described in this book was really interesting. Also really appreciate the importance of consent in the story.
