I thoroughly enjoyed the second novel in this series. The characters were engaging, although I didn't like the main characters as much as I liked the main characters in the first novel, though Lady Alameda remained her rascally, interfering self, which I liked. The writing was once again well done, and the characters helped the plot continually move forward.

Pleasant but very forgettable regency romance between naive, serious Willa and Alex Braeburn, who doesn't have much to concern himself with. Willa is rather too naive for my tastes, but within a day I'd forgotten everything about this book (I just reread part is it to be able to write this review) so no harm done.

Funny. Lighthearted. Just the kind of book you need when you want something easy on the mind. The love story is sweet and romantic, if a little tame and the characters are hilarious. I really enjoy these books and look forward to reading more from the author.
