This novel is made to be a slow burn. It raises many plot-related questions in the beginning, and answers them little by little over time.

It assesses human kind and all the good and bad it has done; both on a person by person basis, and as a collective influence.

All the small stories snowball together into one overarching plot that tests the main character, and faces some questions we all ask: “Is there any such thing as a true friend, true love, and a role model we can rely on?” And “Does humanity deserve to spread out into the universe?”
