I loved the first book in this series. It's why I ended up reading the whole trilogy. The third book was better than the second but still wasn't as good as the first.

Our three main characters mature quite a bit in Thrive. The all deal with the arrival of the aliens in a different way. The we must clean up our environment message was there but not overly preachy. I got the feeling that the kids will have a hard time going back to just being kids after having all that responsibility thrust upon them.

Really enjoyed the series. This was my least favorite out of all 3 though.

The series as a whole stayed pretty strong. A solid recommendation for sci-fi middle grade readers.

This was a great ending to this trilogy.
I really liked the way this series went. I enjoyed the environmental message, but I really liked that it wasn’t overly heavy handed. It felt like it fit into the book without being overwhelming.

I liked that the ending was wrapped up nicely, but also talked about the future that needed to happen in the world, what needed to happen after.

All in all, a really good middle grade series, with good world building, a lot of action and excitement, well written characters and a good message. Definite recommend
