A delightful romp through the woods to cap off the series

This book is for people who have read the series. In a paintball hunt of doms against subs, we get to spend a little time in the heads of our favorite characters from the previous four books, including a few we haven't had a first-person view of before. It's lighter, funny, sweet and sometimes silly, with warm endings for our couples. ("Slave" in the title has only limited relevance to the story. "Sub" Hunt would be more apt, and the hunt terms include explicit consent.)

One of my issues with the previous four (and one reason they were all 4 star not 5 stars) was that each of the endings felt tentative. The characters were moving forward, for the most part committed, but the shapes of the relationships were still in the process of forming. Here we get to see them a bit farther down the road, and appreciate how they are settling into a future where relationships feel more secure and solid. We see them care about their friends, but turn to their partners. It served very nicely as a wrap up for this series.
