13.8.2023 4.5⭐ samoja ajatuksia kuin edelliselläkin lukukerralla. Pidän enemmän kirjan loppuosasta kuin alusta.

Taattua muumikamaa. Mäkin haluan isona olla kuin Niiskuneiti ja olla diivojen diiva. Tunnistan itseni myös Muumimammasta, joka pakkaa mukaan kaiken. Kylpyammeesta lähtien.

Cute little story, where Moomintroll and Sniff go on an adventure in order to prevent the damage of a comet. Along the way they meet various friends and face all kinds of dangers. Since I am going on a trip to the south of Finland very soon, I thought reading Tove Jansson's stories would be a nice idea. Can't wait to see the museum, the park, and buy a mug.

Anyway, this piece of work is sweet. Something to read when you don't feel great.

These cute little Moomins are always up to something interesting, and unexpected. Great family read-aloud.

Such a wholesome, cozy book - and yet never saccharine, because the humor kept things from ever getting too heavy. I adored the messages Jansson conveys through character conversations, how the world is whimsical yet also vaguely set somewhere in our world (or adjacent to it). Looking forward to the next book, and to sharing this with my nieces!
