This book serves up a fast paced, light hearted romp through Marvel's version of NYC. The Black Cat and her crew are recruited to steal artifacts from some of the toughest heroes in the Marvel Universe by her former mentor the Black Fox.

Felicia Hardy can come across as a cheap knock off of DC's Catwoman, but that is not the case in this book. This book's treatment of the character is fairly origina;l and Felicia comes across as a nuanced and complicated character who is a far cry from a Spiderman , "also ran" girl friend.

It looks like this title is just kicking off so I am excited to see what happens in future volumes.

Run of the mill story but I liked the art a lot more than I thought I would. Travel Foreman is clearly having fun rendering the Sanctum Sanctorum and Baxter Building in this collection and while Black Cat still has it's cheese cake moments Foreman gives the charecter an Amanda Seyfried if she was in Ocean's Eleven vibe I really liked.

Really enjoyed and will continue. Unfortunately felt I was missing a lot of backstory to get the inside jokes.

Fun & pretty, but as it's a new(ish) beginning, cliffhangeriffic. Lots of fun Marvel references abound, and it's definitely better than recent outings for Black Cat. Funny, too.
