Fascinating story, unique magic system! Only predicted one of the twists, but most were a complete surprise!

All in all a really good fantasy book with some great world building!

This was a very whimsical dark academia read with beautiful prose. I think it could’ve been slightly shorter, but it really didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed this well thought out this story. It’s very slow paced with light world building and easy to follow magic systems. I’m very excited to see what happens next in book two.
