i was fully ready to give this book one star until the last 75 pages. my criticism that books should have been shorter is common on my page but this one takes the cake for most unnecessarily long book i think i’ve ever read.

Tbh I think HoEaB plays better the high stakes game. This one has a lot of pleasant surprises, but it also reminds me a lot of Empire of Storms.

I had a harder time getting through this book than the first one but the ending 100% made up for it. Because oh. My. God. What and ending!! The last 50 pages were a WILD RIDE. I need to know what happens next man, what a cliffhanger. Also I would have wanted to know that Ruhn was basically a Rhysand lookalike from page 1 because I would’ve instantly loved the guy

I was looking forward for this book. And it didn't disappoint ..
The only thing I don't love too much was that there is so much going on ,, sometimes there is too many irons in the fire and it's hard to keep track of who did what and why.
The ending was insane, and I can't wait to see where she is taking it from there, there are so manty possibilities.
Overall, it was great book and I rate it 4
