A hard read, upsetting and emotional, but well-written, well-researched, and very important. I hadn’t realized the sheer depressing scope of the murderer and missing indigenous women in Canada before reading this book. I am both sad and angry after having finished it. My only very minor quibble is I wasn’t the biggest fan of the structure of the book, which jumped around a lot.
Moderate: Addiction, Alcoholism, Death, Domestic abuse, Drug abuse, Forced institutionalization, Genocide, Grief, Hate crime, Murder, Physical abuse, Racism, Rape, Sexism, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Trafficking, and Violence
