Beautifully written and illustrated book. I love the fact that we get to know more about Cardan since I've fallen absolutely in love with him ever since The cruel prince.

This book was short and sweet. I really enjoyed being inside Cardan’s head, both past and present. It was super cute and had a wonderful ending that brought everything very full circle. Made me happy!

3.5 Stars.
And now, it is truly over. And I feel sad - maybe more bittersweet.
How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories is a work looking back to Cardan, and it sheds much light on his character. It is a short, lovely read, and the artwork is truly beautiful.
I wish I could get it in hard copy, but being an international reader is hard.
