The second book might be even better than the first!

This book was super exciting for me to read, I was on the edge of my seat so many times. I loved all of the little twists and reveals that we got. I loved watching Rain grow! Bernard stole the show for me though in this book. :)

This was a great conclusion to the Night/Rain duology! There were a lot of twists and turns that I wasn't expecting, but that still make sense in retrospect, which made it very interesting. Both of these books reminded me of traditional fairy tales, and the author got the tone exactly right.

I will say that I would've liked more time for exposition and for the plot to develop. I felt that some of the plot points were rushed or not explained/fleshed out enough by the story. However, this is a pretty minor complaint, and overall I really enjoyed this book, and I'm looking forward to reading the other stories in this series.

I thank the author for giving me an opportunity to read ARC in advance.

The story continues where book 1 ends and my god, what a ride! More actions, angst, secrets, past memories, and...spice. After Rain's grave injuries, her past memories comes back to her along with who and what she saw and it made a small conflict between her and her mate. In desperate to avoid a war, enemies turns to allies and they plan to take down their enemy King Yaga once and for all.

I loved Bernard and his banters was top notch. Especially with a fierce little fairy Clapa. There was a surprising twists and more romance and my favourite scenes was where Bernard first met Clapa and epilogue (you'll understand once you read).

Night and Rain was one my favourite cutest couples and I loved them soo much it hurts. It was sad to say goodbye to Nightrain but can't wait to read the next Tricksters story.

A thrilling tale!

The second installment of this duology is fantastic!

This one is filled with twists and turns and surprises! MAYBE the reader might guess a twist or two, but certainly not all. The author has put a unique and fun twist on the wonderful world she created.

This action packed adventure is a thrilling read. It contains some violence, spice, humor (cue Bernard), romance, surprises and a happily ever after!

I was so excited for this duology and it blew my socks off! A definite recommendation!

I am thrilled and fortunate to have received my copy of this book through BookSirens and willingly leave this review.

Really loved how this book ended and that we got to see the conclusion of Rain and Night’s story. Similarly to the first book, this was a quick fun fantasy read that definitely helped lighten the mood after finishing a darker book!

I really enjoyed the ending to Rain and Nights story. I love Bernard and am happy rain had him during all her challenges she faced. I love Night and Rain and I am so glad that they had a happy ending. I enjoyed all the backstory and learning who Rain truly is and how much growth she had in this book. The ending was great and I couldn't think of a better way to end Rain and Nights story.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I really liked this book. It was a great ending to the duet. The relationship between Rain and Night is really great because we see throughout how not only do they grow as characters but it strengthens their relationship with each other. I also loved seeing Rain get her memories back and her reunited with her family. Bernard is, and forever will be, my favorite character. He is great comic relief while also being very real.
