Enjoyed the heck out of this quick read that I went into not knowing anything about.
The narrative covers relatively current events in an engaging, humorous, and honest manner. You can tell the author has worked with international aid orgs and governments as she lays bare the in-fighting, egos, and waste in those programs.
I found the characters and storyline engaging and found myself a bit sad it was over.

Such a fascinating story. It was complex, full of dark humor, extremely witty, political, provocative, and even unhinged at times.
It does resolve rather abruptly and far too easily, and relies heavily on stereotypes to build the supporting characters. I also, really disliked Nadia’s mother and her lack of accountability!
But, overall, a very interesting and entertaining read!
