One brave undocumented worker convinces his coworkers to take action with him against their boss, who is exploiting their undocumented status to work them like slaves for only $3 per hour.

There is an informative blurb at the end of the book about the messy problems created by employers hiring undocumented workers so that they can pay them illegal low wages to do the jobs that many Americans simply will not do- e.g. farm work, janitorial work, etc.

This is a beautiful book with brilliant artwork. This would be a read aloud for a middle school classroom.

Very educational and interesting. It was an honest tale that I'm sure kids and their families can understand and relate to without losing hope in this ongoing fight for equal rights for undocumented immigrants.

What a great way to share this amazing message! I love books that help us get into the mind of someone who's had completely different life experiences than me. And the format is a great, unique way to share this message.
