Super steamy/spicy but it doesn’t overtake the story. I was still very much invested in the plot and all of its twists and turns. Jumping right into the second in the series.

This was decent but definitely drawn out in places but rushed in others. I would have liked a bit more work building for one and Quinn and Scarlett eyes from “I hate you” to “I love you” so quick it felt like whiplash. I will read the others because I’m all for queer representation but I genuinely hope it’s a bit better

The writing is questionable, genuinely don’t see the need of this being a trilogy and they’re already feeling each other in the first  book. The dagger at the throat thing is already too repetitive like there’s no real tension between them, but I do like the majic system in this book.
