Things I liked:
- I really enjoyed Sterling’s character.
- The ending was better than I thought it would be.
- I definitely appreciated the bonus epilogue.
- Sterling and Morrigan’s relationship was so intriguing to me.
Things I didn’t like:
- The secrets were so silly to me and the stakes of the whole enemies to lovers also felt flimsy. Especially considering how poorly they’ve treated each other.
- The pacing was really odd. It seemed to really be heavy on the meat of the story in the last 15%-20%
- If this wasn’t a book club book, I likely would have DNFed

This book pulls you in immediately!! I recommend joining the mailing list on the authors site to read a prologue set before the book begins because it shows a great first meeting of the two FMC and how their relationship started. The spice and the plot/storyline are amazing definitely lots of spice and some really great character development. This is book 1 of 3 I’m on to book 2 next and can’t wait for the 3rd book to be released later this year!!
