This is a good book to read when the kids are up close to the book. So many details in the art... and of course the book is all about the art!

Love the way these Katie books work art education into engaging children's books. The one gets extra points for not engaging in the typical girly princess brainwashing (dressing like a princess isn't all Katie though it would be) and for Katie demonstrating kindness to a boy in need.
