Fun, fast, and furious. Another good read for those early readers. Great illustrations to help them get through the book.

I thought that "The Locker Ate Lucy!" was much better than its predecessor, "The School is Alive!"

The second book seemed to read much smoother and the story was also a lot more interesting than the first. Granted, I'm not the age group that would usually read this book, but as I was told, reading these is similar to that of the Bailey School Kids in certain ways, and that these books are reminiscent of the creepy books I loved when I was in elementary school.

Once again, I think the illustrator did a fine job doing the artwork, and Max Brallier did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. Excellent work!

Guided reading level M. This would be a great small group book for hi-lo readers. Early chapter book with black and white illustrations on each page and spooky action scenes would definitely appeal to upper elementary students (especially during October!)

Very funny and clever! Perfect for elementary school kids. Even though it's short, it has the adventure, the silliness, while including scary and gross parts that 6-8 year olds love so much.

This series is growing on me quickly--I love the illustrations and the overarching plot that is coming into focus involving Orson Eerie. AJ is certainly engaged and that is something I absolutely LOVE to see.

In this book, Lucy disappears into her locker one morning and when Sam and Antonio follow her, the find themselves in (literally) the belly of the beast.
