All the side characters and MMC were so lovable and despite wanting to stop reading numerous times I continued to push myself into reading more into the book with hopes of it getting better but FMC and her mom made me stop giving this a try.
I absolutely loved Alex ,Charlie and Owen so much.
Despite Owen having the same opinions as Andrea(FMC) about weddings he hasn't tried to make it about him and let his best friend and her partner feel like idiots for being excited about their wedding. On the other hand Andrea made it completely about her and made her best friend Alex since childhood feel like an idiot for being excited for her own wedding. Also when Andrea did something really terrible before the wedding day ( leading Alex to have a broken ankle which made her wear a cast for the wedding) Andrea's mom justified her behavior instead letting her know what she did was wrong. While FMC and her mom too had deep seated trauma about love and marriage trying to sabotage someone else's happiness doesn't sit with me right.
But I must say I loved the author's writing style which made me feel like I'm actually going through the streets of Italy and tasting all the good food mentioned in the book. Her writing made me look into her other books and will definitely try them too.

This book was just soooo boring. I feel like nothing happened and the characters didn't have any chemistry.

I received an arc through netgalley.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.

It was a little awkward at the beginning, but I did enjoy it. It was about friendship and the mother/daughter relationship.
And it was in Italy. Loved to read about small towns and the food and people.
It had flawed characters but their growth was good.
I liked Owen. He was supportive and how he helped Andi.

It was an average romance book, with a cute setting.
