This book is so amazing. The storyline and scenes and plots. In the beginning it seems a bit confusing. I keep on taking notes and marking lines throughout the book just to keep me on track.
It showcases violence, sexual harassment but at the end it showcases beauty of recreation. The 2 headed cobra symbolizes recreation.
The part I like in this story is the magic and powers.
The story begins with Winnie disappearing and then branches out to different timelines which connect to Winnie disappearance. Each and every woman in this story deserves a better ending. They have been through alot in their life.
Binh, winnie and old ma daughter deserves someone who would love her unconditionally the way they are.
This story seems more like a horror story in the beginning, but as it goes on it gets creepy and magical and towards the end it seems like a really sad story for what all Winnie, old ma daughter, binh, and some other characters had went through and the end is the new beginning for all characters.

This is a great story to read but only if you have the time and energy to keep track of all the people as the story goes.

All in all it's an amazing book I love it.

If you liked the book Night Tiger than you’d probably like this one. I’m sorry I voted on it for my book club read.

Dark and confusing. I did love the narrator!

I enjoyed this read but found I got lost and confused multiple times. Some of the magical elements added to the confusion. I did appreciate the rich characters. The intermingling of coming of age complexities with the impossibilities of magical realism made a nice combination.

I’m still a little confused on the ending of this book but the story telling is quite good. The author is able to weave so many stories together and the writing is wonderful.
