I really liked this story! It was easy to follow and super light considering the setting and what actually happens in the books. My biggest issue with the book and why it didn’t get the full five is that I just didn’t get attached to any of the characters.

It's such a sweet lighthearted cozy book, it's like the definition of cottagecore! Perfect for winter evenings. This book inspires me to start sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking haha
(I'm talking only about Little Women, not Good Wives)

4 stars this time! Even though it's my comfort read, I still find this book too preachy at times, and the idea of what the author calls 'womanly little women'... sometimes it's just too much.

Read this so I can watch the most recent film adaptation. I see while people like this, but it's not for me. I did like the character studies, though, particularly Jo.

not very into this book. the story is fantastic, it’s a classic for a reason, but the writing is just unbearable to me. the greta gerwig adaption tells the story better than 600 pages of lectures from miss louisa. also jo is gay cry about it haters!!!
