Jemisin is one of the best modern writers I have ever and this book is no exception. It's not my favorite in the series and parts of it made me really sad but it was amazing. The only issue I had was it felt slower than the other books.

Did such a good job of bringing everything together, rounding off the world-building by explaining why the world was what it was. I thought it was the perfect ending for Essun
to choose for Nassun to live whatever she decided and for Nassun to have the faith that she was trying to do the right thing, despite their relationship never being fixed

Such a great series about exploiting the earth and exploiting and oppressing eachother and how neither are sustainable and will just make everything worse
