4.5, I loved this book and absolutely recommend it, but the reason it is not a 5 star is because some of the essays were kind of boring and at times not as well though out or written as others.

Definitely Read the essays about Diet Dr. Pepper and Super Mario Kart.

Very interesting!! Learned lots of things and John green’s voice throughout made everything into something more. It even makes me want to be less stingy with my 5 star reviews. Almost. 4.5 stars

I don't listen to his podcast of the same name so I wasn't sure what to expect but I loved it!

I always think of John Green as a bit of a pessimist but this book was so oddly and wonderfully hopeful. I say oddly because while he does seem to deliberately take a hopeful stance in the reviews he does it without anything feeling trite, it all feels balanced. I also loved that the essays delved into the personal as well because it made me connect with it more!

If you're feeling overwhelmed and want something soothing or hopeful this is the book for you.
