I really liked this book! I enjoy Ali's typical focus on empowering women in male-dominated spaces, but I liked that this was more focused on the FMCs personal journey and internal struggles. I found her so relatable. I also enjoyed the safe exploration of kink, which was new to me! This might be my favorite Ali Hazelwood book so far.

Okay, this book was good, and I did enjoy it. The characters were written really well in my opinion (although I felt Lukas was a little flat and two dimensional). It kept me hooked, and I read it super quickly, many giggles were heard while I was reading. But something just didn’t quite hit perfectly. There were a fair few loose ends that were never resolved, and sometimes the characters just frustrated me.

Spicy scenes felt repetitive except for their location. Did not do much exploring. Book could’ve ended 150 pages sooner and would’ve been fine. Not a fan that small problem was presented about 50 pages before the book ended.
