The only issue I had was the jumpy timeline but by the end it all came together and WOW

It covered so many issues such as depression, internalised homophobia, religious and cultural expectations, effects of war, etc and did it so beautifully

This was a beautifully written story about forbidden love in Nigeria. The descriptions of Nigeria and the way of life were given in such rich detail.
This book definitely makes the ranks of one of my favorite. I'm so glad it was recommended to me!
