This book was quick, fluffy, a little funny, and a little steamy.  Nicole is a serious workaholic, and her connection to the work environment and culture is clearly unhealthy right from the start.  Her relationships with Parisa, her friend, and her two main friendly co-workers are great to read about, as breaks between the drive in her head to stick to a schedule and get the work done and lose herself in the work so much that she doesn't even have time to sleep or eat properly.  I love that she runs in to Brandon, although I don't think his past as a TV reality star was necessary, and I love that her boss(es) also start her thinking about what's really important to her.  As someone who is currently unemployed and looking for a job, but comes from a work environment where people are expected to sacrifice themselves and their free time regularly, this felt familiar.  I'm glad I'm not on that merry-go-round.  I'd give this book 3.5 stars if I could.

A not-too-cheesy take on a 20-something with a busy life who keeps adding more and more to her plate. As Nicole’s plate is almost overflowing, she meets her dream man. Now she has to prioritize her life .. and it’s a struggle.
After breaking up with her man and quitting work, she realizes her addiction issues and how to focus on her life.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ups and downs and hilarious “side-quests” the characters encountered. A sweet story of finding yourself and putting yourself first.

This book is full of so many dumb clichés about being a millennial in the corporate world. If I had to read something like “hey, look at me. We’re not our parents, okay? We’re carving our own paths” one more time I was going to lose it. I tried to finish this because I hate not finishing books but it was horrendous. It was like reading the Instagram captions of the girl you hated in high school.
