This is the first of Isabel Allende's memoirs I have read (or in this case listened to). It's a fascinating glimpse into her colorful and varied life. It's also a great history and culture lesson. Her sense of humor is witty. Recommend.

I loved this book. It is so real and the way she writes takes you to her roots. As i have lived in South America I can understand where she cmes from explaining her nostalgia and her memories.
