I enjoyed this series. The final book however felt drawn out and fell short. I enjoyed the Dynamic between riven and Keera, and expected after the cliffhanger ending of the 3rd book, we'd see more character development. Instead Riven was a background character. The series ended on a nice note, but I just did not love the final book.

Wonderful conclusion to the series. Sad to see the end but Blair really wrapped everything up. I am happy with how the villain was belt with. It does have a little bit of the hurry up and finish vibe that some last books in series does. I still enjoyed it and am eager to read whatever she may write next!

The first few books of this series are much better. This one was slow until the very end, where things picked up. Overall satisfied with the ending.

Wow

I can’t do it. Between the love interest fucking off after keeping
a whole identity
from the FMC, how much I dislike the FMC, and the FMC’s overloaded magic
CHANGING SOMEONE’S SPECIES/RACE?!
I’ve had enough.
It’s probably explained later in the book, but
Gwyn being turned full fae from halfling
just doesn’t sit right with me. Not when halflings are meant to be Métis people and fae are full indigenous people. Maybe I’ve read the allegories and metaphors wrong. But it just feels weird and I am done making concessions for this series.
