It must be so hard to end a series and I feel bad for not rating this higher because, ultimately, I did enjoy the journey. That said, books 3 and 4 felt slow and almost repetitive to me. I wish this had been a trilogy with a combo of the highlights from books 3 and 4. Such a great story and overall arc but the little details let me down a bit in this one. I’d still recommend the series with a disclaimer about the last 2 books being a little less hard hitting. 

Happy to have read all 4 though!

honestly, 3 stars feels kinda generous. I reeeally liked the first few books, this story held so much promise, idk what happened here. the characters just became annoying, the plot weak, pacing random idk man. 
this last book just felt like a huge drag & I had to force myself to finish it, bit disappointing. glad I am done tbh
