This was an enjoyable conclusion to The Halfling Saga despite some of the twists seeming more like plot armor for certain characters than natural progression. Some things were a bit predictable but the story still held interest. As far as I could tell, it tied off all the loose ends from the previous books.

Ahhh I’m going to miss this world, these characters, and this series. Every book in these series I’ve read, I’ve felt so immersed in the story and so connected to all the characters. Although I didn’t feel as captivated by this book as the third, it was a satisfying conclusion to the story.
