so so so so good. i will love this clint & kate forever, and not allow any others to take their place. i wish more comics would use the medium this well to tell a story. funny, beautifully illustrated, & emotional.

This made me look at Hawkeye in an entirely different light. I loved how his character is so grounded. He doesn't have superhuman strength nor does he have any powers, in general. He was just a guy who was trained to be great at shooting arrows.

More detailed review to follow.

wow! It was my second or third marvel comic book and I really enjoyed it. In fact, now I understand why people like Clint Barton. Honestly, he's such a great character, I don't know why I didn't like him in mcu. Anyways, I'm going to continue this comic series one day. It was a great start.

Enjoyed this much more the second time around. Aja’s work here is some of the best comics of the last decade.

Great series. If we ever get a Hawkeye movie, Matt Fraction has to write it.

I love the art of this volume especially the first three issues. The inking is almost like a silhouette but you still get to feel the action and the personality of the characters. The coloring is minimalist but effective in this type of story. Well established the daily life of Clint not stopping in being a hero. I would want more dynamics with him and Kate, and Lucky! Oh that issue about how he got Lucky is worthy of a live-action adaptation. Also, they should have sexualized Clint more with that charisma.

two stars ∗ not bad!!

i love clint barton, and i personally feel like the mcu made a mistake with casting him as jeremy renner, so it was fun to see clint in all his sarcastic gold. it was difficult for me to follow at some points but i’ve never really read comic books before so that’s something i’ll have to get used to! i’m looking forward to reading more about clint’s (and kate’s!) adventures!!
