Number 47- Leverage in Death another good read

I have and will continue to read JD Robbs In Death series as the characters are like family and who doesn't like catching up with family doings? This story is a little more laid back than some of the others but still tense in some and a little bit of fun in others and as always I look forward to the next

The librarian at the library in small town Tennessee did me a great favor when she recommended JD Robb's In Death series back in 1997. I have loved it ever since! The characters are so appealing to me and the action enlivens my reading life. Though not every one of the 47 books are my absolute favorites, I think the majority are. I am never disappointed in any book of the series, and Leverage in Death was a good read.

Another instalment of Dallas, Rourke and family, always an entertaining and crime busting read. It’s like spending time with an extended family.

I usually love this series, but this fell flat for me. The formula wasn't the problem, although that is a little tired and the series needs an injection of new characters or interactions. The villains were rather removed and I didn't buy their motivations or wide ranging targets. It's a comfort food series, and I will continue to read it, I'm sure it'll bounce back, and kudos to Robb for churning out so many!

This series is my guilty pleasure. Lose reality and enjoy some witty dialogue and ass-kicking. My kind of time burner.

All these books into this series and I love it just as much as I did at book one. Maybe even more! Susan Erickson has to be one of the best narrator’s ever!

Forced to wear suicide bomber vest to work or family will be raped & killed - horrendous choice! Great teamwork: explosives unit, Morris, Baxter & Trueheart, Callender & Feeney, Carmichael & Santiago, Mira
Academy Awards. Magic coat protects Eve in knife fight. Nadine gives Eve "Red Horse Legacy" to read and tells her the publisher wants to make it a trilogy and starts thinking of which case to write about. Peabody flies after takes booster & drinks espresso!
