Really a 3.5 star book, but bumping it up to 4 stars because of certain feelings.

Gray Wing is truly the heart of this arc. The father of the entire series, of cats throughout many clans. Even if not by blood.

There is still so much about the clans developing we did not get to see, but it was nice to see the start of the clans. That being said, this is probably the most depressing Warriors Arc (out of those I've read). Did I cry? Many times. Are there cats I hate? Yes. Are there cats I love? Also yes.

At last the clans were named, and it made me happy to see that. Even still, I was sad with the end. How depressing.
