And... My love for this series continues. The fourth book was always my favorite, and I think it still is. I love all the new characters and looking deeper into the different wizarding schools + the quidditch world cup is always fun to read about. This series really brings me back to my childhood!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has been the best entry in the series yet (and miles better than the film adaptation)! The overarching plot really begins to develop from here on out. Most of the major players in the game begin to show. The main conflicts of Lord Voldemort vs Hogwarts as well as Hogwarts vs The Ministry of Magic start to rise here. In addition, all of the several layers of detail between the character backstories, side plots, character relationships, and the like are intricately-woven, delivering a compelling and winding narrative with something for every fan. This novel was intense, detailed, varied, and covering a whole realm of topics. Definitely the best for me so far.

I loved the Goblet of Fire. It was probably the first large book I read as a kid.

Being my favourite book in the movie franchised, I was very excited to read Harry Pitter and the Goblet of Fire. And it did not disappoint!

This was the first time I had read this book and it was everything I hoped for and more! The scenes that were cut from the movie but written into the book made so much sense to the storyline.

I was obsessed with Hermoine’s pursuit to help the house-elves and it only made me love the character more so! Ron has always been my favourite character in the books, but this book, and his jealousy of Hermoine and Krum, solidified it even more so.

The book made me love Cedric Diggory and mourn his death even more so. And I felt an actual chill as I read the scene in the graveyard.

An incredible read for me. 4.5⭐️
