Explicitly transphobic, explicitly antisemitic, explicitly against Irish independence and pro-empire and colonialism. Action packed to distract. Explicitly ableist.

I think the saving grace of the book for me is Cedric Diggory, my Hupplepuff dear boy.

This book is quite enjoyable among the others. Tournament is fun yeah? But, why adults in here are like dumb dumb and dumber?!

Plot has many loopholes. Signifying the lack of information on the world building. It's like everything would have fallen to the right place regardless of the characters actions.

this is my favourite harry potter book by far. with the addition of the tri-wizard tournament a whole new level of fear and tension is added to the storyline. when harry’s name is pulled out of the goblet chaos ensues, one he is too young to be able to put his name down and two no one else did?? this major event points at a dark force returning, one with no nose (hehe).

with the introduction of sunny cedric diggory i loved this book even more, to this day he is still one of my favourite characters from this series. a gentleman and kind soul cedric helps harry throughout the tournament. (guys i couldn’t stop bawling my eyes out).

the addition of the yule ball in this book was breathtaking. the beauty of the winter theme and the sweet romance that surrounded it made my heart warm. i just wanted to teleport there and join in, i mean come on who wouldn’t want to attend the yule ball??

overall this is an amazing book and a part of a series everyone should read at least once in their lifetime.
