The audiobook was challenging at points until I put the overall story together. Each character had an individual path that was ultimately connected to one another in some way.

The library and its staff were what tied them most but they were also the people that the characters needed to meet and engage with in order to find their purpose and beliefs. From learning how to cook and care for yourself, to knowing that you are more than just what society says you have to be, I went on a journey with these characters and I truly enjoyed it.

Great, wholesome read.

My second five star read of the year is a heartwarming feel good collection of stories about five different people who search for things they need and the library being a safe haven for all.
