Fluffy vampire fun. Not deep, but certainly enjoyable.

This was a fun read, full of Dark Ones, family fighting, charms, and even mummies!

Sprecherin: Vera Teltz
Der Sprecherin würde ich 5 Sterne geben.
Verlag: Audible Studios

A fun enjoyable vampire romance. I especially liked the attempt to find a pet name that fits The Betrayer.

What a fun little romp! I read Katie MacAlister's book, "You Slay Me" and loved the sarcasm and wit. This book delivers that just as much! Nell is wonderful heroine and when she decides to love her "vampire" she goes all out. Adrian, well, he tries to be all domineering and scary, but Nell doesn't let him. Like I said a fun read!

Too cutesy to be that memorable for me. Humor works if done well and not forced, but these types of 'funny' vamp stories doesn't do much for me. I also started in the middle of the series with this one, which didn't help

The farther into this series I get the more I like it. This had more of the humor that I have come to associate with Katie MacAlister. It was fast paced and witty. I really enjoyed it! Adrian is a (almost overly) tortured soul and Nell is strong despite her physical limitations. She has an inner strength and humor that really keeps the book from being overly angsty.
SpoilerAnd the mummies! They were so funny! And, it was nice that the ghosts from Christian and Allie's book were there!
